Background

It was Aunty Rangi who got the ball rolling on this one - her enthusiasm for partitioning the land, and eventually building on it, sparked years of work, learning and discussion. We are pleased to say that approx 7 years since this all first began, the partitioning has been finalised!

My family has been witness to all the work that dad, mum and others have put in to making this all happen. Essentially they have done this for all of us, all of the next generation (and the generations after) - so it is easier for us to manage.

Sally, Peter and I would love to see a building of some sort erected, not only in recognition of their work and Aunty Rangi's dream but also so we all have somewhere to call 'home'.

Those of you who have been to the site will know how beautiful it is, and knowing that Nanny Rangi spent her early life there makes it all the more special.
